Frequently Asked Transport Questions

Q: Why do we have to use the charter bus system?
A: Because it is the most convenient, hassle free and cost effective way to get to the festival from your local area. Book your charter bus now by clicking here.

Q: Why can't we get dropped off and picked up at the festival?
A: Our festival patrons safety is our number one priority. The festival site is in close proximity to the M1, Queensland's biggest highway, which makes it unsafe for foot traffic during such a major event. Getting dropped off and picked up causes massive traffic congestion, which slows everybody down and makes it harder to get to and from the event. Not only that it is extremely dangerous. Police will be monitoring the area and we don't want you to get a fine.

Q Do the Buses run return trips?
A:  Yes. All buses are for a return trip. You need to book a bus seat on the charter bus service ($8.99 + BF). Buses will run until everyone is off site.

Q: Can I catch a Taxi to and from the festival?
A: Yes you can catch a taxi to and from the festival, however we recommend that you book a bus, as taxis are limited and there can be large queues at the end of the night.

Q: Can I catch an UBER to the festival?
A:  No. There is NO UBER DROP OFF at the event site, however, UBER drop-offs and pick-ups can be made from our ride share location at Woombye State School, you then catch a shuttle bus from there.

Q: Can we still drive our car if we are camping?
A: YES all campers are permitted to bring their car into the campsite and park next to their tent as per previous years...  nothing has changed there :)

Q. Can I walk to the festival?

No you cannot walk to the festival. Patrons who live nearby are asked to use the closest drop off location at Woombye State School. (Drop off only - no parking)

We thank you for your cooperation.
